From the moment you arrive, I want you to feel like you’ve been transported back to another time. For this welcome to Weekender, we will embody the 1950s but with a twist. Arrive in your finest 60s threads, and then dress up in the evening when we are paying tribute to James Bond Goldfinger which was at least a little silly and camp! Dance the night away with DJ Johnny, our awesome band SUPERSONIC SOUL plus a special performance form the Warner Entertainment Team!
The afternoon activities involve a 60s dance workshop, a gold bullion hunt, quizzes and of course all of the many on-site facilities including Golf. There’s a pool, a games room and many wonderful indoor or outdoor places to sit and socialise with Weekender friends
The Weekender Hair & Beauty parlour will be open early until supper and if you fancy booking ahead and treating themselves to a perfect updo, beautiful make up or even a manicure/pedicure or massage, then the booking diary is open from August

The vibe is glam and groovy with all the silliness of Weekender. Not only will the Vintage Market return and the Capture Every Costume Studio be fully themed, but there’s also a Tiger Feet dance workshop, plenty of game show madness and an afternoon screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!
The evening is a trip to Viva Las Vegas, Hayling Style! We have the incredible JD King to get us on the dancefloor, performing Elvis’s greatest hits so something for the jivers, something for the boppers and something for everyone!
Saturday night is the late night party for those who wish to continue the party with DJ EDDIE who always guarantees a right ‘ole knees up.

Sail Into The Fifties
Daytime & Evening
Sunday is where we transport guests to another land! We’ll be shivering the timbers, walking the plank and swigging the rum! A 1950s classic film but with a Weekender twist. We invite you to dress up as pirates for the daytime and take part in the drunken sailor stroll workshop and join in with the Selsey Shantymen singalong. The famous mobility scooter derby returns with a pirate twist. If you have energy, we have a jive workshop to prepare you for the evening of rock and roll.
If you need a rest, then the afternoon matinee will be Muppet Treasure Island, and the evening screening will be the original Treasure Island.
For our finale evening, we have a rock and roll party with HARRY & THE HOUNDS plus DJ JIVIN JIM DANDY. The theme is tropical/TIKI so colourful, bold, summer vibes a’plenty. After the party, the Yellowcoats team will have a singalong session and a few extra dances to bid you all farewell.
